The building is in the form of eight-pointed star is on an artificial island in the coastal area of ​​Copenhagen. The project was designed by the architectural studio «3XN», in front of which was to create a modern, high-tech building with a high level of security and favorable conditions for many offices.

The architectural solution is impressive not so much outside as inside. The central hall is placed sculptural staircase. Made in the form of a sea link, it contrasts with the surrounding white-space black glossy finish shimmers in the rays of sun light coming from the transparent roof of the atrium.


The giant spiral staircase connects the eight parts of the building and “promotes effective interaction” of all departments of the UN Office in Copenhagen.
