01 May Spacious loft in Czech
ORA Architectural bureau presented a spacious loft area of 140 square meters, located in the attic of a historic building in the town of Mikulov, Czech Republic. It was built in the XIX century. Later, the open space of the lecture hall was divided into apartments, and the unused attic turned into a residential loft.
The architects had not only to preserve the historical heritage and its unique atmosphere, but also to create favorable conditions for life.
The most important decision was the desire to leave it in its original state, focusing on the fact that sometimes the main part of the design is not design. Wooden beams, steel bars and open space looked great, but at the end of work on the loft had yet to find a resident of suitable for it.
As a result, the couple bought a loft, which stops here during his summer holidays in the Czech Republic.
