03 Dec The mansion of polymorphic steel

Architectural bureau in South Africa «Nico van der Meulen architects» project completed residences located near the nature reserve of Johannesburg. Mansion «Kloof road house» was designed for a large family, with lots of places for active operations located both inside and outside the residence. From each room there is access to the inner garden.



The sculptural facade paneling polymorphic become dark. The building used mainly steel, glass and concrete. The two-level living room, dining room, kitchen and porch Hawaiian camped in the open space of the first floor. Bedrooms and bathrooms are settled on the second floor.



Columns irregularly shaped steel beams supporting the roof and a canopy. Hung ensemble originally decorated the entrance and staircase railings with geometric steel. Interior design corresponds to the outer appearance of the residence: perforated steel panel walls, fixtures triangular shape with steel inserts, polished concrete floors, dark furniture and concrete canopies are made in the same style.
